This thing they call StumbleUpon is actually a really cool way of finding new websites. It’s an easy to use button that goes on your web browser to view new sites about topics you choose. The only downside is that is not available for Safari yet
which is really saddening, but it is available for FireFox Mac. If you are a devout fan of Safari [Like I am] there is hope, their is a website that allows you to use StumbleUpon on any browser. All you need to do is sign up and get your ID# and your password and presto! Start stumbling. If you haven’t already started to Stumble, then your missing out! Go to: stumbleupon.com

Apple has released a second version of Mac OS X 10.5.4 to developers today. The biggest new feature to be supported will be Apple’s recently announced MobileMe service. Apple also said that MobileMe and the update will be available in early July. Also, Apple’s system requirements indicate iTunes 7.7, so a update for iTunes is expected as well.

Yes it is true, will the iPhone sell in all countries for no more than $199 US, my speculation is that the iPhone will probably go for $149 Canadian because of our strong dollar. I’m so excited and I can’t wait to walk to my Fido/Rogers store to pick up my iPhone. The iPhone’s biggest selling point for me is the integrated GPS with Google Maps, which is a big plus. Also, I love the idea of geotagging the photos I take, like that I know where they were taken and I can upload them to a website that features geotagging and share them with my friends, which is fantastic. For example, lets say I’m going up north and take pictures of wildlife, I can check were I saw things and go back to that spot anytime I want. Ah Apple, what a great company…
Please stay tuned for more updates of the iPhone in Canada.
Update: The iPhone will sell for $199 Canadian and $299 for the 16GB model.
Another major feature, which I’m highly anticipating, is the App Store. The App Store, is Apple’s way of distributing developer content to the masses. The developer will have a 70/30 profit share, and they can set whatever price they wish, ranging from $0.99 to $999.99, or, of course, for free
At the WWDC 2008, we saw many previews of what’s to come, such as games and services that are both free or for a price. This is something big, just look at the iTunes Store’s success, imagine the App Store, Apple is slowly taking over the markets, in some may or another. They took over the portable music player market and now the Smart phone market. Yes, their becoming dominators. And I can’t wait to see what will happen next.
